Prep Streams

In Aztec, Product Modelling / Menu Manager, Print Streams are configured against a product to define where an item is printed when it is part of a dispense ticket. Within Kitchen iQ, these are referred to as Prep Streams and can be used as part of the Routing Rules configuration to define which Station items are sent to for preparation.

 

Option	Description / Usage
Name	The name given to the Prep Stream in Kitchen iQ (multiple POS Print Streams can be mapped to a single Prep Stream within Kitchen iQ)
POS Print Stream	Drop down to define the mapping of POS Print Stream to those within Kitchen iQ

 

Prep Streams can be used in Routing Rules to direct items to different stations

 

 

Adding New Prep Streams

1. Select the Prep Streams tab

2. Click Add

3. Enter the prep stream Name

4. Select the required POS Print Streams from the drop down

5. Click Save
